I used to work in a cubicle, it just wasn't for me.

I left my 9-5 job in a cube and went all in. After a year of working full-time at the Wood & Stone Designs World Headquarters (aka... my basement!), I signed a lease and made the move into a real shop. I hired some part-time help and haven't looked back! We have outgrown our first shop in south Minneapolis and moved to a larger shop in Bloomington, MN. . We craft each piece with the same passion I did when I was working on concrete sinks alone in my basement. We now ship our products nationwide. 

Outside of the shop? I love the great outdoors. Backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing are my bread and butter. I even climbed Devils Tower in Wyoming with my partner Renae and her son Jovan! We've also hiked several sections of the Superior Hiking Trail and climbed several spots along the North Shore of Lake Superior.

We love living in Minneapolis. Most Sunday afternoons you will see us out walking with Nina, our favorite fur baby.
